Sunset cast, uni@nov5. 06Nov07 | 0

Yesterday it was raining a lot, and after it stopped raining; a beautiful sunset took place. It looked way better than this in real life, but meh, you get the idea. That cloud was standing out like a shy girl in a dancy crowd. The other pics include my lame Database Modeling class (over Access, duh), how UIS looks on Mozilla Prism, and finally my DM prof explaining things and stuff.

UIS, UMTS, NS9, ECSC, and more. 06Nov07 | 0

It’s been a busy week. No, make that two weeks. Rich with events and crowded with people. I am starting to lose the sense of time. It is said that you can start ignoring what day it is in two cases; one when you’re too bored/lazy/homesick, and the other is extreme opposite: when you’re too busy to count that your mental day incremental date variable forgets to auto_increment. Yeah, so, my current attention is to get UIS done. What’s UIS? It’s a comprehensive ajax powered intelligent university management system. It will be setup on a super-equiped ThinkCentre and will only operate locally. It’s really smart. It’s not just an intranet interface - it reasons. I am also still working on the UMTS (my uni’s internet/intranet servers), which is taking time to shape up. […]

Nature of Luck 31Aug07 | 0

I believe that the difference between Arabs and Americans is that the latter are always trying to do the right thing and never succeed, however, the Arabs never do the right thing, but always succeed. Success in the Arabs case doesn’t necessarily mean achieving your goals; it’s surviving. It’s not even based on luck. Luck comes to organized people. People who at least had the decency to try. Luck is the personification of divine will. That’s how Arabs see it. The problem is that not because you’re striving to do the best gives you the right to educate others about your failures. And like they say: “if you can do it, do it - if you can’t, teach it.”

On A Sunny Sunday 05Mar06 | 0

Here I am again at this early weekend day, listening to Groove Armada - At The River, a very interesting lyrics I must say - lol. She keeps saying the same thing all over - but I don’t get bored. Strange! I’ve been working on some projects as of late, and my time was somehow limited. Alot of stuff (and shit) happened in the last week, since my post here, there have been some turn overs… I joined, quit, started and ended projects, groups and ideas in that period of time. As for the uni scene, everything was calm, nothing special, except that Guitar music club lessons I am going to take.

Weather; Research and Whatsoever… 24Feb06 | 0

I am supposed to get this research on Environmental Education before Monday. I mean, why confess this to me? Me! The technical minded guy; who knows all about math - but economy and environment! Whhaaat…! I need to work out on how to write research strategies. Whatever that is, I need to figure out how to write on it. I tried Wikipedia (my second online friendly search engine) for help, though I find few answers. I am going to try my luck with the UNESCO or something the like and see what they have to offer on this subject.

Morales and Scandals 22Feb06 | 2

Are scandals morale? If we consider all the gains against the loses that such scandal would make, does it justify giving me the right to publish information I have to kill someone’s reputation if it was for the good of a “cause”? Do I have the right to bash someone if my evidence was taken from them? Anyways, I did that already, and I wont go into details because what is done is done.

I Graduated In Her Dreams! 21Feb06 | 0

My twin told me today that she dreamt that I graduated. She said that she saw me wearing blue and mauve academic regalia. I was in the graduation ceremony and I was very happy (normally, hehe). I made a small research on what does the blue and mauve signifies. The Academic Costume Code in the US say that the blue either means that I’m a graduate of faculty of Philosophy, Education, or Public Administration. It depends on the blue grade that only she knows; and upon insisting she couldn’t decide. Haha. Imagine asking someone who barely remember a dream what color was your watch :P

Simplicity is a bless

There are no stupid questions, just stupid people, so never take life seriously.
Nobody gets out alive anyway. It is better to speak to a seeker of knowledge
than to remain silent; but silence is better than idle words. Much silence
and a good disposition, there are no two things better than these. And like
I've always said; "because light is faster than the sound speed, people look
bright - untill they speak!".
