Another Day Passes By.

On my way back home today I came across a telecom-van driver who was insulting some other taxi dude loudly and with all the energy one can release in an insult, just because the taxi driver blocked the road five to ten seconds. He ended up calling him an atheist, something of which I find truly weird. Why would a taxi driver be accused of being an atheist just because he committed a mistake? Have the first dude notice while insulting, he actually did block the road the whole minute of his insulting-scene. Amazing how we can judge people and never look through our own actions - let alone apologizing for it.
I smirked and then continued walking. Such incidents don’t usually attract my attention, not because I’m insensitive, but because there’s too many of them repeating everyday that you’re starting to feel indifferent about. Such can be remarked on how we react to the News in general; all the killing, all the bombing, all the assaults, all the wars - we just feel pity inside and then it’s over. We don’t, and we shan’t, do anything about it. We’re mere spectacles. And that airhead who said he didn’t remember anything for the last five years. These days we only find the news either funny or sad. No mainstream. It’s never boring. What used to be exciting the past years is now boring , and vice versa. I pity humanity for global communications.
So Tunisia launched this advertising campaign saying that they are the”Number 1 operator in Tunisia”. I am not surprised since they are Egyptians, lol. But what’s really funny is how Telecom reacted. They simply made bigger ads, mainly all over the metro stations, buses, universities, even in club entries that they are “Number 1 in X, Y, Z, M, N, P, etc…”. They listed everything. Coverage. Number of customers. Price. Service. Client support. Packages and plans. Everything. And they ended their ad with “Parlon bien, parlon vrai”; which translates to “Let’s talk real, let’s talk facts”. I find that weak since they didn’t need to ditch Tunisia like that. But meh, who cares, I’m still in love with Tunisiana, ha!
I found out today that some people keep surprising you everyday. Who would’ve thought that my netadmin in a small country like mine, who’s French minded and young - have heard about Carnivore? And knows how it works and what happened to it. I honestly was impressed. I don’t recall being impressed for a good while now - helps you keep the morale that the world is still a good place worth living, lol. The earworm of the day is Pascale Mashlane - Akhad 3a2ly.
Yeah, so long and thanks for all the fish.
