UIS, UMTS, NS9, ECSC, and more.

It’s been a busy week. No, make that two weeks. Rich with events and crowded with people. I am starting to lose the sense of time. It is said that you can start ignoring what day it is in two cases; one when you’re too bored/lazy/homesick, and the other is extreme opposite: when you’re too busy to count that your mental day incremental date variable forgets to auto_increment. Yeah, so, my current attention is to get UIS done. What’s UIS? It’s a comprehensive ajax powered intelligent university management system. It will be setup on a super-equiped ThinkCentre and will only operate locally. It’s really smart. It’s not just an intranet interface - it reasons. I am also still working on the UMTS (my uni’s internet/intranet servers), which is taking time to shape up.
Yesterday me, my associate, and our lawyer registered nadasolutions as a webfirm. We’re now officially launched. All we have to do now is finish the place’s decoration and finalize the website, version9, hence the NS9. That was the happy side; the sad side is that I lost the ECSC contract, which is a pity since I really needed the money. But it’s okay, once doesn’t always get what they want, eh? Speaking of contracts, I got a contract with the uni to pay my fees (yes, call that a scholarship), which is super cool since now I can save a sum of $4000 for other things - like backpacking through europe - oh yes, certainly a goodie.
It’s weird to be alone in the apart at night. It’s not that i feel lonely, but Noha used to fill the place with laugher and fun, and even when we had fights - it was just different. I just need to find someone to fill the place again for me. Not just for that, but now I have to cook, shop, clean the apart, tidy the rooms, wash the dishes, wash the cloths, and even recycle! Crazy eh, but i still find the time to do other things - like that rave party and those stupid (annoyingly useless) hangouts with classmates.
My friend, Nermine, is (most likely [not]) getting a lasik operation, laser eye surgery, of which she is extremely paranoid about. It’s okay, it’s gonna be alright. Good luck and speed recovery (tooh). That’s it for today, i’m having some friends over and i don’t want them to mess with my pc, so, a un de ces jours!
